PFAS compliance tools do three different jobs. Parts databases look up PFAS content you can match to your bill of materials. Supplier survey platforms send questionnaires through a portal. Managed services put people on the chase. For a Minnesota PRISM report, the right choice depends on where your missing data sits and who will chase the suppliers who do not answer.

If most of your parts are catalog electronics, a parts database may answer many rows before you email anyone. If your gaps are machine shops, molders, and custom parts, no database has them, and the work is getting each supplier to reply.

What does Minnesota reporting need from a PFAS tool?

Minnesota’s report asks, for each product or component with intentionally added PFAS, for the PFAS name, CAS number, concentration range, and function. Minnesota Rule 7026.0080 also requires you to keep asking your supply chain until the data is known, and to keep the records for five years. Judge tools on these points:

  • Component-level fields. Does it collect name, CAS number, Minnesota’s concentration ranges, and function per part? A yes/no “PFAS free” answer does not fill the report.
  • PRISM output. Does it produce data in PRISM’s upload format, or will you re-key it?
  • How suppliers answer. A portal login, a survey link, an IPC-1752A file, or a plain email reply. Ask each vendor what share of suppliers answered through its method last cycle.
  • Who chases. Software sends reminders. A managed service has people find a better contact when the first one goes quiet.
  • Due diligence record. Every request, reminder, and reply with dates, since an unknown only holds up if you can show you kept asking.
  • Other rules. TSCA 8(a)(7), New Mexico, REACH, and RoHS, if you need one tool for all of them.

How do the tools compare?

Each row is based on the vendor’s own public pages, linked below and checked October 28, 2026. “Not stated” means the cited page does not say. The feature may still exist. This is a job-fit table, not a ranking.

What each tool is best for

Assent suits manufacturers in electronics, medical devices, industrial, automotive, and aerospace that want one platform across product compliance programs. It acquired iPoint in July 2026.

Certivo suits manufacturers that want software plus a named contact who guides the filing. It publishes a large library of Minnesota PRISM guidance.

ComplyMarket is a Munich-based compliance platform that sends PFAS questionnaires and follows up continuously.

GreenSoft suits electronics manufacturers that want people, not just software, to chase supplier data, with output shaped for the PRISM template.

Rumzer PFAS Tracker suits OEMs and suppliers that want IPC-1752 exchange by email and the option to outsource the report.

Source Intelligence suits companies that may start self-serve and later hand the chase to a managed team. It covers small to enterprise companies.

Sphera BOMcheck suits companies whose suppliers already publish declarations to BOMcheck.

3E Exchange suits companies that run supplier surveys for TSCA 8(a)(7) and other chemical rules.

UL Solutions suits companies already using UL’s WERCS or material data tools that want PFAS added.

Z2Data suits electronics OEMs. Its database of over a billion parts can answer catalog component rows without a supplier request.

Bridgecurrent suits manufacturers whose missing data sits with small and custom suppliers that never answer portals. It finds the person at each supplier who can answer for its parts, sends the request from your own email, follows up until they reply, checks each answer for part numbers, CAS numbers, and Minnesota’s ranges, keeps the dated record, and prepares your PRISM upload. It is not a parts database and does not file TSCA reports.

How to choose

  1. Sort your parts. Split catalog parts from custom and made-to-print parts. A database can cover the first group. Only outreach covers the second.
  2. Count your suppliers. A few hundred suppliers with a team to chase them fits a platform. A long tail with no one to chase fits a managed service.
  3. Check how suppliers answer. If your suppliers are small shops, ask each vendor what share of their suppliers answered through the portal last cycle.
  4. Ask for the PRISM file. Ask each vendor to show the export that goes into PRISM, so you do not re-key data.
  5. Ask for the record. Ask to see the due diligence log a regulator would get.

TL;DR

What is the best PFAS compliance software?

It depends on the job. Parts databases suit catalog electronics. Survey platforms suit manufacturers with a team to run the chase. Managed services suit long supplier tails that do not answer portals.

Which PFAS tools support Minnesota PRISM reporting?

On their public pages, GreenSoft describes output aligned to the PRISM template, Certivo covers PRISM filing, and Bridgecurrent prepares the PRISM upload. Others cover Minnesota in guidance without stating a PRISM export.

Do I need software to file a Minnesota PFAS report?

No. PRISM accepts a spreadsheet upload. The hard part is the supplier data, not the filing.
